A Short Thank You
In case things don’t go any further, I’d like to say a couple of thank yous.
One is to Poetry Ireland/Éigse Éireann, and the other is to Bobby Buckley’s BB Gardens.
Because in the 2008 Irish Blog Awards Poetry Ireland is the sponsor of the Best Arts & Culture Blog for which my site American Hell was announced today as having made the shortlist of 11.
And BB Gardens is the sponsor of the Best Designed Blog in which Irish KC has been shortlisted along with 8 others.

You can also read the nominations I made for this year’s awards. Most made the shortlists though I am quite disappointed to see Haydn Shaughnessy fall off the Best Tech list, and Annie Rhiannon not stay on the Best Personal list. That said both may yet win something as they’ve made shortlists in other categories.
