A Short Thank You

Thank you to Poetry Ireland/Éigse Éireann, and thank you to Bobby Buckley’s BB Gardens.
Because in the 2008 Irish Blog Awards Poetry Ireland is the sponsor of the Best Arts & Culture Blog for which my site American Hell was announced today as having made the list of finalists.
And BB Gardens is the sponsor of the Best Designed Blog in which Irish KC has made that list of finalists.

You can also read the nominations I made for the 2008 Irish Blog Awards. Most made the shortlists though I am quite disappointed to see Haydn Shaughnessy fall off the Best Tech list, and Annie Rhiannon not stay on the Best Personal list. That said both may yet win something as they’ve made shortlists in other categories. (Update: Annie won Best Personal Blog at the 2009 awards)
