Irish KC Shortlisted for Best Arts & Culture Blog in 2010 Irish Blog Awards
The longlists of nominations in the 2010 Irish Blog Awards have been through 1 round of judging and the shortlists have been announced.
All 3 of my nominations have progressed to the shortlists, including this blog, Irish KC, in the Best Arts & Culture category (sponsored by Poetry Ireland).
My personal blog Bicyclistic has also progressed in both the Best Specialist category and the Best Personal category (sponsored by iQ content and Microsoft Ireland’s Development and Platform Group respectively).
The next stage is the list of finalists, which follows another round of judging, and then the winners are announced on the night in Galway. I’ve been lucky enough to have made it to a couple of final lists for the big night in the past where it’s all very exciting.
The Kansas City blog Tir na Blog [sic] has also progressed to the shortlist in the Best Personal blog category.
Whatever happens regarding my own nominations, I already consider myself a winner this year because I’ll be exhibiting my paintings at the awards. There’s more info on my personal site.
