It was about 15 minutes I spent watching this particular hover over some rough grass area on the other side of those trees. And then I just looked at the branches. I can’t remember for how long. The bird was a hawk.
This painting continues around the sides, so can be hung without a frame. The sides are 1.5inches thick and painted red except for the continuation of the branches.

Like in the birds and wires paintings there are glimpses of red around parts of the edges of the darker features which aren’t coming out so well, if at all, on the photo. And yes, I did think about not naming this painting “Hover” because people, including myself may think it’s called “Hoover”.
