Midwest Irish Focus Changes Location
It’s still in the Midwest, and it’s still in Missouri, but from the beginning of May the world headquarters of the Midwest Irish Focus will be in Jefferson City. Even better than that it will be located above Paddy Malone’s Irish Pub with Irishness seeping through the floorboards.
The Midwest Irish Focus is a monthly Irish newspaper by Pete Maher that focuses primarily on Irish-Americans in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Pete tells me that this move, coming 9 months after the move to Maryville, Missouri, will have no effect on the paper or its contents.
I would imagine though that Jeff City is better located for distribution to the vast area that the Focus covers, than Maryville was, and being located above a quality Irish pub would be considered idyllic by some people.
Good luck to Pete with the move!

The Missouri History Museum Library was given a few issues of Irish Focus for 2011. Is it possible to get back issues and have our library added to your mailing list? We would like this title as part of our library holdings. Our address is Missouri History Museum Library, P.O. Box 11940, St Louis, MO. 63112.
Thank you,
