Waiting for God’s Dough
You know the way I’ve maybe had a little whinge here and there about the weather being a touch inclement this winter, specifically here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here? Oh yeah and here?
In my defence I will stress that less than a week ago it was -23 Centigrade one morning before even getting into RealFeel figures.
But anyway, to be fair I should point out to readers who live far away from Kansas City that the last two days here have seen temperatures of +18 Centigrade. T-shirt weather. My door is wide open right now. Come on in; I’ve just made a fresh pot.
The great advantage of such warm weather straight after such cold weather, is the speed of the thaw. I stayed out all night last night. Sitting in car parks watching the snow-plowed piles melt. Because when the snow disappears, all the money lost in the car-park appears magically in one spot, helpfully ploughed there by private enterprise.
Turns out there was no money lost in Kansas City. Still, nice weather, ey? Until Saturday’s forecast major storm of rain into snow.
