Kevin Gildea at Kiltimagh’s Electric Mouse
If you liked Irish comedian Kevin Gildea in Kansas City back in September, you might be interested to know that his appearance here gets name-checked a couple of times in a feature on Mayo’s big Christmas comedy event in Ireland.
I didn’t see him when he came to Kansas City - not counting a brief appearance promoting his performance - but I have seen him in Ireland where he made me laugh. This is a good thing. Politicians, car-drivers, and GPs making me laugh, is a bad thing.
A third of Mr Trellis with Barry Murphy and Ardal O’Hanlon, it took Gildea some serious stand-up work in London to catch up with the boys and even for a while fly higher. But I guess if you’re near Kiltimagh for the Christmas you could see how he’s flying yourself.
