Something Else This Way Comes
Those of you in the know, know that today is Hoffenpurpenburger Day.
Those of you not in the know may simply think either it’s another absurd Irish celebration, or now that Irish KC is one year old I am merely recycling the same jokes. I see your point, however I’m not.
But only because it’s over a two year cycle that I recycle my jokes. And rather than bore the pants off my friends in Kansas City or Irish kitchens with the same old jokes, I drop all my friends after two years, make new ones, and that way ensure that the laughter continues. Except for the sullen few not wearing any pants.
As well as painting right now, I’m working on something as a present to myself for Hoffenpurpenburger Day. If it’s ready, we’ll talk later today and I’ll share it with you. If not, well you’ll have to settle for another new Irish painting that I’ll photograph outside some time after the sun comes up.
