Packing List #3: The Kansas City Tapes
Aha! I may not be a stereotype after all.
Because I listen to tapes way more than I listen to CDs.
And that’s just as well because I’m told that CDs are now dead.
And sitting upon the top of my graphic equalizer are the tapes that have made it out of the big box for frequent playing.
So once again in the interests of honesty and accountability, here is a list of those tapes. No links this time though - too busy.
1. Midnite Vultures by Beck
2. Secret World Live by Peter Gabriel
3. Dizzy Heights by The Lightning Seeds
4. Horsebreaker Star by Grant MacLennan
5. Lam Toro by Baba Maal
6. I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got by Sinead O’Connor
7. Grace by Jeff Buckley
8. Life’s Hard And Then You Die by It’s Immaterial
9. Viva Hate by Morrissey
10. Odelay by Beck
11. Mule Variations by Tom Waits
12. The Singles by The Clash
