Celtic Rock in KC, MO on Labor Day Weekend
This Labor Day weekend on Saturday September 1, 2007, you can see 2 of Kansas City’s Celtic Rock bands perform downtown at The Brick.
At 10pm Connacht Town are playing, followed by The Kelihans at 11:30pm.
Call it Celtic Rock or Irish Pub Rock, either way it’s rock imbued with an affinity for Irish music. It’s supposed to be loud and it’s supposed to be fun.
The Brick is on McGee between 17th and 18th Street. When I go there I usually get off the Max at either Crown Center or Union Station and walk the few blocks. Except when I cycle - but that’s no use to you.
