New Fuchsia Band CD “Grá Dá Raibh”
Mairtin de Cogain of The Fuchsia Band, up late last night, let us know that the new Fuchsia Band CD, Grá Dá Raibh, is waiting for release at the Irish Fair in Minnesota.
Grá Dá Raibh means “Love That Was” and was recorded at Mad Theory in Cork earlier this year. The title track is the first original Fuchsia Band song, and features on this year’s Seachtain na Gaeilge CD, Ceol ‘06 with a host of Ireland’s greatest performers singing as Gaeilge.
In this Celtic Year of The Fuchsia, the unstoppable Irish force that is The Fuchsia Band rolls on.
Brian, the fourth green field, so to speak, is meeting up with the rest of The Fuchsia Band at that Irish Fair in Minnesota on August 11th to 13th, and then the lads are down for two more gigs in August:
August 18th – 20th Irish Fest, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
August 24th Eddie Delahunt’s Café &, Kansas City, Missouri, 7pm
