Fuchsia Band Video from Arkansas
Speaking of The Fuchsia Band, here’s a few minutes of Mairtin, Eoin, and Mick, with some singing from Mitra, some talk, and that broom dance, from last week at Sticky Fingerz Chicken Shack in Little Rock, Arkansas, courtesy of YouTube.
The first minute is opening act Something for The House with Kevin Kiley, Scott Moye and Judi Warner. You may need to click the clip twice:
You can next see The Fuchsia Band in Kansas City, Missouri, at Eddie Delahunt’s Cafe & on August 24

Hi Eolai! This is Kevin Kiley in Little Rock. Fair play, lad! I was just
about to let you know that video was there, meself. It’s a great
little snapshot of what went on down here last Saturday. The house
was PACKED until after midnight and the lads were TERRIFIC!
The club closed at 1:00 AM because of blue laws in Little Rock
so everyone just poured out onto Main Street, Little Rock ( recently
renamed to President Clinton Avenue since the Clinton library is
only 4 blocks down the street ) and we had a mighty SESSION
and CROSSROADS DANCE right in the middle of the street!
It was GRAND!

Technical note: It’s not anyone’s imagination that guitar sound
for FUCHSIA in the video is not as good as it usually is. Their
Fishman acoustic pickup got damaged in the trip and Mick and
Eoin and I were working hard to fix it but didn’t really succeed
before concert time. The guitar was missing all it’s mid and low
frequencies for the show… but it was still a GREAT NIGHT!
