New Blog: WBC & O’Malley’s Irish Pub of Weston, MO
For those of you driven to disinterest by my nonsense here on IrishKC, you should be pleased to learn of a new blog on the block that is the Irish community of the Kansas City region.
The Weston Brewing Company (WBC) based up at O’Malley’s Irish Pub in Weston, Missouri started up a new blog 2 weeks ago, and have kept it going.
So far it’s excellent, with just the sort of insights, news, and opinion you would want from a brewing company and a pub. I really wish every pub did this, and every entertainer.
And I like it’s tone, with the pub and its beers being promoted by default through news and updates rather than the language of self-applause.
For example from a post on the WBC’s “Big” Beers:
Our new handcrafted “Big” beer series is well into experimental mode. Cream Ale Reserve, Raspberry and Red Barn Peach are among the first testers. Cream Ale Reserve, Raspberry and Red Barn Peach are among the first testers. Keep an eye on the post as there will be a review party coming up in the next month or so.
And there’s more, about cider, about live Irish music at O’Malley’s. and, well, etc.
Go, read and contribute, through contact and comments. Let the WBC guys know that you are reading and appreciative - that way if you’re lucky this new blog will continue on for a long and healthy life.
