KC Dogs on Irish Parades
One for people who like looking at dogs walk down the road.
As St Patrick’s Day 2013 approaches, the big parading weekend is almost upon us and the Examiner has a feature on the dog clubs and animal welfare groups that are participating in the Kansas City, Brookside, and Snake Saturday parades.
The Brookside St Patrick’s Parade on Saturday has the Irish Setter Club of Greater Kansas City, the Great Dane Meetup Club, MoKan Greyhound Adoption, and Taysia Blue Siberian Husky Rescue.
The Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday has Kansas City Sheltie Rescue, KC Pet Project, and Spay & Neuter Kansas City.
But it’s the Snake Saturday parade in North KC that appears to have the most of the known pet groups participating, with the Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter, Heart of America Newfoundland Rescue, Kansas City Sheltie Rescue, M’Shoogy’s Animal Rescue, Northland Animal Welfare Society, S’Wheat Rescues, and Unleashed Pet Rescue and Adoption.
