Jonathan Ramsey at the KC Fringe Festival
Jonathan Ramsey, in 3 performances sponsored by the Missouri Valley Folklife Society, is playing at the Kansas City Fringe Festival on July 27, 28, and 29, 2007.
This is the 3rd annual KC Fringe Festival and it’s a 4-day event (Jul 26-29) with all sorts of stuff as well as music, including live theatre, dance, performance art, visual art, spoken word, puppetry, storytelling, film and fashion.
The Fringe events are located at various different venues in Kansas City, as it showcases local, regional and national artists.
In a warm-up for Jonathan’s set KC session musicians will be playing some jigs and reels.

Admission: Typically admission to a Fringe Festival event is by way of a once-off purchase of a Fringe Button for $5 (to help to defray Festival expenses), and then you pay a separate admission charge to each event of which 100% goes to the performing artist and venue.

Jonathan Ramsey used to be based in Kansas City for many years and was very popular in venues like Harling’s Upstairs. Based in St Louis the Fringe Festival is one of only a few chances in the year you get to see him this side of Missouri.
