Free American Gigs by The Saw Doctors
Two of the Saw Doctors‘ USA shows on their summer tour during August are FREE admission. Lewiston, NY on August 15, 2007 and Albany, NY on August 22, 2007.
With the likes of the recently mentioned Lisa Hannigan, and Damien Dempsey, the SawDoctors were playing at the very recent, and very muddy, Glastonbury Festival. Leo writes about it on his blog all the way from Lewis in the Hebrides.
The highlight for the Tuam boys, in a big way, was listening to John Fogerty:
we stood in a field in Somerset filled with a joy in our hearts as John Fogerty sang and played some of the finest songs ever crafted in the history of rock and roll, or folk, or any genre of music. What a real, deep joy to behold and sing along with this mastercraftsman at Glastonbury
Despite that blogpost being on Bebo, here in a new video are the Sawdoctors, and they are never going to go on Bebo again. Bit of trouble with a “friend” in a Flash Box. So no MySpace either. The video is homemade with a webcam, and it looks it.
Well okay the video isn’t here - because I got tired of palying with Bebo’s parameters for embedding their videos. I’m never going to Bebo again. But you can, if you want to see that video. As of the time of posting it’s way below the fold and on autoplay. Don’t ya love technology?
