Irish Punk by Vandon Arms
The Vandon Arms are out of Des Moines in Iowa and they’re a punk band who tap into Irish music in that Dropkick Murphy’s and Flogging Molly way that isn’t as like The Pogues as much as people claim.
The boys have shared a stage with The Tossers - who are currently available for gigs in Kansas City - and if you like what you hear tonight the Vandon Arms would be grateful for your vote to get them onto the Warped Tour.
You can listen to Buz, Clint, Elliot and Brandon on their MySpace page where you can hear four tracks from their Losers and Boozers EP of last year, including the title track.

The Vandon Arms are playing TONIGHT, Saturday May 5, 2007, in Mickey’s Irish Pub in Lenexa, Kansas.
Tonight’s Cinco de Mayo gig is at 8pm and is a 21+ affair.
