Tossers Available for Kansas City
Steven Soltis, the manager of The Tossers, tells me that the band are currently on tour until May 19, 2007 when they play in Springfield, Missouri, and that they would love to then play Kansas City.
The Tossers are open from May 20th to the 30th before the next tour begins.
The Tossers opened for the Pogues in New York on Paddy’s Day and were on Jimmy Kimmel Live the year before. They have a brand new record out called “Agony” and are signed to Victory Records out of Chicago.
It is a bit late in the day but The Tossers will be next door if there is anything open.
And from Agony here’s a video of what you can expect when you book the Tossers - it’s Siobhan:
If you remember the Top 25 CDs on Paddy Rock Radio for 2005, you’ll remember that The Tossers were rated higher than many Kansas City favourites such as The Young Dubs, The Great Big Sea, The Dropkick Murphys, The Prodigals, Switchback, Black 47, The Elders, and The Sawdoctors.
If that’s not enough for ya, check out their classic No Loot, No Booze, No Fun

Hey, Eolai!
Where are The Tossers playin’ in Springvegas come May 19th? I went to their website and couldn’t find it. ‘Course, I’ve been nipping the red wine tonight. That could have sumpin’ to do with it. Is it a secret? Can you tell me? Or will you have to kill me?
It’s not a secret Angie, so we’re spared that unpleasant killing business. This time.
The Tossers play at the Outland in Springfield on May 19.
