Irish Play for KC: The Lieutenant of Inishmore
Spraying blood, bullets in the head, corpse dismemberments - yes it’s Irish comedy time.
The Lieutenant of Inishmore by acclaimed London-Irish playwright Martin McDonagh is coming to Kansas City.
From October 17, 2007 - November 11, 2007 McDonagh’s story of Mad Padraic, a man too reckless for the IRA, is playing at the Unicorn Theatre on 3828 Main St.
Directed by Joe Price, who recently staged McDonagh’s The Cripple of Inishman” for KC Actors Theatre and The Pillowman for the Unicorn, The Lieutenant of Inishmore is a co-production between the Unicorn and the University of Missouri-Kansas City theater department.
