Irish Gaelic Language Classes at Irish Center begin Sep 30 & Oct 1
The Irish Gaelic Language classes at the Irish Museum & Cultural Center (IMCC) begin September 30 and October 1, 2009. These are new dates as the start of the 10-week Fall classes were postponed due to instructor illness.
Students are still encouraged to sign up ahead or show up Sep 30 or Oct 1, depending on proficiency.
CLASSES
Beginning Irish Gaelic A, Thursdays 6:30 pm – for anyone who would like to start on the basics of the Irish language.
Beginning Irish Gaelic B, Thursdays, 7:30 pm – for anyone who would like to build upon the basics of the Irish language, a continuation of the A class.
Conversational Irish, Wednesdays 6:30 pm – if you’ve made it through Irish A and B, or have other experience, it’s time to advance and have some fun! The Conversational class will take you further on the language, through conversations, literature, songs, stories and more.
Instructor
Renata Henley lived in Ireland for 10 years and studied the language extensively, earning a B.A. in Celtic Studies from University of California, Berkeley, and an M. Phil. in Irish Studies from University College Dublin.
Fees
$100 for IMCC members, $130 for non-members (includes an individual IMCC membership) or $150 (includes a family IMCC membership)

Location
