Dublin Stories: Episode 4 - Peter
We haven’t done a Sunday Short for a while.
Here then is my favourite from the Dublin Stories series of films by NOVARAfilms. It’s episode 4 featuring Peter Miller and his special interest.
Thanks to Máirtín de Cógáin for bringing this to my attention.
I love this thing, all 5 minutes of it.

If ever a short had a great ending, this one does. Brilliant!
It does that. It’s had me looking around this mess I live in for my Post Office book. I think I still have 50p in there from 1978. I’m wondering if it’s worth the euro yet.
One of the best stories I’ve heard in a long time. I think Peter deserves a HEFTY grant from Culture Ireland to just keep doing exactly what he’s doing and then deserves a grand showing at one of Dublin’s Fine Art Galleries. One of the definitions of an artist is someone who is able to find significance in the ordinary and so here’s to Peter, the artist.
