Browne’s Anniversary Irish Street Fair
On Saturday June 28, 2008 Browne’s Irish Market are holding their 121st Anniversary Street Fair, a midtown neighborhood Kansas City Irish festival.
You had to wait 120 years for the first one, but not so long for the 2nd one.
Irish Music
• The Elders
• Eddie Delahunt,
Also:
• Food
• Drink
• Kids activites
More details of the event that celebrates North America’s oldest Irish business are forthcoming but in the meantime rest assured that a fun day for all is planned and that once again it is a fundraiser - for F.I.R.E..
Fun on a grand scale requires volunteers however, so get your Irish community spirit ready.
Last Year
In 2007 what we can now call the inaugural event went from 11am to 11pm and was just $7 admission (or $5 in advance). I imagine you remember last year’s event held just a little bit earlier in the year - on Bloomsday in Kansas City: 120th Anniversary Street Fair
