Going to WJ McBride’s of Overland Park, Kansas?

If I was you I’d call WJ McBride’s Irish Pub in Overland Park (913) 451 3100, and then based on that make any plans to see anybody there or not.
And while the rest of us are whispering, the Fr Donnelly Division of the Kansas AOH, is public about for the reason for the current closure, as it reschedules its next meeting for December 12 at The Gaf on Wornall - which is in Waldo, though agonisingly close to Brookside for those who want it to be there. Sorry.
And then Toby went there last week with some friends. Or tried to.

McBride’s has a sign outside now. It looks like Mickey’s Irish Pub, Co. has taken over McBride’s. The sign says they will be opening soon and it looks like they are going to keep the same McBride’s name. They’re also hiring right now.
I hope we see open door within a week or so…and I hope it doesn’t become the kind of bar Mickey’s is. I prefer cheap Guinness and Irish bands in a relaxed atmosphere than a packed dance floor with a DJ playing the top 40 hits. Keep McBride’s unique.
Cheap Guinness? Like Harlings?
well, cheap Guinness as in $3 on Friday nights…one of the main reasons I went there
