Free Guinness at Irish Trivia
Here’s an update to the Irish Trivia Night at the IMCC this weekend, Saturday March 1, 2008.
Previous updates were lost resulting in me doing a disservice to what you get for your entry fee.
You get FREE Guinness (and soda and snacks).
You can enter as a team of 6, or if you have no friends show up as an individual and the organisers will try and put you into a team. Or if you’re determined to continue having no friends you can just pay to be an observer, an observer who drinks.
Full details including waffle by me, on the original but amended Irish Trivia page.
The IMCC is located in Union Station.
As a bit of fun for you here’s some trivia questions with an (often vaguely) Irish tinge that I’ve faced in Kansas City:
• Prison in Northern Ireland that was home of the Dirty Protest?
• Irish novelist ended up with former girlfriend of Oscar Wilde?
• Car made in Northern Ireland ceased production in early 1983?
• Van Morrison track on the soundtrack to The Outsiders?
• The Durand Line & Breaking a Terrorist Ceasefire
