Irish Celebrity Watch
Now I don’t want to turn Irish KC into Gawker’s Celebrity Watch, at least not until I return to Ireland, but I did receive a text yesterday from Sister The Younger back in Ireland.
Seemingly the sister witnessed Lisa Hannigan, her whose voice we still associate with Damien Rice, in a shop last week buying knickers and an umbrella a raincoat.
Now while that might strike you as the obvious shopping list for a wet dream, there’s been a lot of rain in Ireland lately - yes even more than the non-stop 24 hours of rain we have here in KC now.
And anyway the sister reckons said raincoat and knickers were destined for Glastonbury, with England also suffering much rain and flooding of late.
And because you can fit so many characters into a text, Sister The Younger also told me she witnessed Bell X1 in HMV in Dublin. If you’re American, ( Bell X1 + Damien Rice ) = Juniper. If you’re Irish you’ve stopped thinking of Bell X1 as ( Juniper - Damien Rice ) a long time ago.
