Celtic Rock Bands Play Downtown Kansas City, Missouri
They’ve had multiple bands playing rocked up Irish music before, and on Saturday 18 July 2009 the Brick in downtown Kansas City are doing it again as they host The Keilhans and Connacht Town.
The Kelihans say they’re scheduled to go on at 10pm and Connacht Town are on before that. Or after.
The Brick’s website also has an Irish Toast Contest listed for the same night, though it calls it St Pat’s so either it’s a mistake or else you have a chance to win $100 depending on the creativity, oration and audience reaction to your toast of Irish content.
