Young Dubliners in Kansas City 2009
The Young Dubliners latest album Saints and Sinners has just been released and the Young Dubs are about to embark on the accompanying tour.
While that tour doesn’t have the boys stopping off in KC, the lads are scheduled to play in Kansas City later in the year on their USA festivals tour when they play the festival that is the Kansas City Scottish Highland Games on Saturday June 13, 2009.
That Scottish festival is held at the Riverfront Park in Riverside, Missouri. Where’s that? It’s located at I-635 & 69 Hwy, just East Of the Argosy Casino.
Saints and Sinners is their 5th album, I think, and it has 12 tracks on it with “Rosie” being the first single. It’s currently getting some air time on dozens of radio stations so if the Young Dubs are your bag, then get requesting.
The album is $18.99 in stores, but from the Young Dubliners own online store they are only charging $16 and, for a limited time, just $2 S&H.
And while the Young Dubliners aren’t scheduled to play KC on the Saints and Sinners tour, I can’t help but notice that as they make their way from the east coast to their home on the West coast there does appear to be a gap of a couple of days between Indiana and Colorado. So you could do worse than keep an eye on the schedules of a couple of local venues for the first 3 days of March.
