Cafe & rests for a few days
Today, Tuesday 3rd July is your last chance to get an Irish Mocha in Kansas City until Monday July 9, 2007.
Why? Because yesterday the proprietors of Cafe &, Eddie & Betsy Delahunt flew to Ireland (well they’re still flying right now actually - it takes a while) destined for Dingle in County Kerry. Or An Daingean as you may know it.
It does of course mean that the Delahunts are going to miss a city explode around them on the Fourth of July, as they instead suffer through the tourists of Eddie’s former home.
On sunday night I heard another incomplete new Delahunt composition, and Eddie told me there’s several more where that came from. Personally I think he should just release them as is right now, and call the CD Eddie Delahunt, The Incomplete Collection.
But don’t worry, they’ll back in plenty of time for Mr Delahunt’s birthday. Life being Irish in Kansas City is just one big party.
