A Celtic Christmas with Connie Dover
On Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at 7:30pm Connie Dover joins the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra for holiday carols, arranged especially for this very talented Celtic folk artist and the orchestra.
We’ve spoken of Connie many times before of course, from the early days of Scartaglen, right through to Dover’s own poetry, but you can read of her music and follow up the relevant links on Connie Dover’s profile page
This event is Dover’s 3rd appearance with the Chamber Orchestra, and you can visit their site here.
Note that there is also a pre-concert talk by conductor Bruce Sorrell at 6:30pm
Admission
Tickets are $21 and $32 for adults with discounts for seniors and huge ones for students. They can be purchased online here but get your skates on as they’re going fast.
Location
The concert takes place at Unity Temple on the Plaza, 707 West 47th St., in Kansas City, Missouri.
This event is posted on the KC Irish Events calendar.

I guess she’ll not be bringing the whole orchestra with her when she plays down here in the Missouri Bootheel tomorrow night, but I’m looking forward to hearing her tomorrow night in Poplar Bluff.
How went it over there April? And is the ice being good to you?
