Young Irish Talent Showcase at KC’s IMCC
On Sunday, February 17, 2008 there is a Young Irish Talent Showcase at the Irish Museum & Cultural Center in Union Station.
This is a show rather than a competition, of young performers doing anything Irish such as song, poetry, instruments, dance, warfare, etc.
If you’re young and have a desire to be on the stage, this Talent Showcase lets you perform an Irish song, instrumental piece, poem, or dance. For performers aged 6 – 18 this is an opportunity to share your Irish-themed talent and present it in this non-competition talent performance show.
There are no judges or people passing comment to make you cry.
Given that the event slightly overlaps “Irish Idol Junior” for Irishpalooza in Martin City, in theme as well as time, it’s nice to see the organisers facilitate you going on early if you are also in the Irishpalooza event.
Admission is $5 adults, and FREE for high school and younger.
The events takes place at the Irish Museum & Cultural Center in Union Station, from 1 – 3 pm.
