Words From Notes: Stranger
The rather moving Stranger is the latest song from the Missouri Scotland collaboration that is Triflemore.
In the song by song MySpace dripfeed of the forthcoming album Words From Notes, “Stranger” is accompanied by notes on the Triflemore blog by Owen Goudie:
If music heals then this song, Stranger, is what helped me to understand the pain of seeing my Grandmother finally succumb to the living hell of dementia. Susan loved the song when she first heard it, and had been through the same heartbreaking experience. We’ve now recorded it so we can share it with you all.
Owen and Susan Rhea are making a fascinating collection of songs and we should be grateful that they are choosing to share the process with us in this way.
