Manuel, the Belfast waiter, has called an end to one of the very best Irish blogs of the last several years.
Well Done Fillet has been on the blogroll here of IrishKC for a very long time, and was shortlisted in the last 2 Irish Blog Awards. I can remember how loud the cheer for it was when its nomination was read out earlier this year in Cork.
Readers of Well Done Fillet have been spoiled, by Manuel’s seemingly tireless posts of length and quality laced with humour for two and half years.
If you weren’t a regular Fillet reader you can at least now go back and visit the archives without the pressure of having to keep up with new posts. I’d advise you to do that before Manuel returns to us in some other guise, something a huge number of us are already now eagerly awaiting. Witness the volume of comments saluting Manuel in his goodbye post of yesterday.
