Free Collaborative Irish Dictionary
IrishDictionary.org has launched a free PDF version of its dictionary.
IrishDictionary.org is a free, open, collaborative Irish dicitonary that relies on its members to build the dictionary. The PDF is generated daily, so is always being updated.
IrishDictionary.org is written, edited and moderated by the online Irish language community. That would be you, if you want it to be.
Available through an Irish language interface at FocloirGaeilge.ie and through an English language interface at IrishDictionary.org, it’s not intended as a replacement for print dictionaries, its goal being simplicity and the concept of simplicity encompassing the whole project.
You can search the dictionary with both Irish and english words, whichever interface you’re using, so don’t be scared or confused (unless there’s something scary and confusing near you).
If you’d like to help adding missing entries to the dictionary you need to register and once registered, you can search for a word, and if it’s missing you’ll be invited to add it.
