War-time News in the American Heartland
Because I don’t have a television myself I’m not familiar enough with what I saw to tell you if it was local, national or cable, but it was news. I think.
When I was out on Thursday night at the Record Bar there was one television on the whole time, and only one thing being shown on that television.
From 7pm to 10pm, and I imagine before and after, there was nothing on but the death of Anna Nicole whats-her-face. Sad news for the whats-her-faces, but isn’t there a war on somewhere?
Isn’t this country actually in a war right now? Or two? Did nobody else die yesterday?

News, evidently not qualifying as a reality show, is therefore ignored.
