U2 Tribute News for KC
Just a quick note to let you know that the U2 tribute band Rattle & Hum KC have had their slot changed for the big gig at Grinders in Kansas City next week.
Originally the boys were scheduled to go on at 6:30pm and open for a Led Zep tribute band, but now RHKC are scheduled to go on at 9:30pm, and are opening for nobody though local rocabilly group the Rumblejetts are on at 7:30.
And that all means you have plenty of time to go home and grab a feed before heading down to the Crossroads for the October First Friday - although you could just go and enjoy the beerfest at grinders that night where if you consume the forty-plus types of beer you end up sounding like bono.
Keep an eye on Rattle & Hum KC - with any luck you’ll be able to see them in a gig at the Voodoo Lounge come November. UPDATE: Voodoo Lounge gig is confirmed for Friday, November 16, 2007. And while technically that’s a gig in a casino, it’s really a very good venue. So there.
I’ve changed the time of the Grinders Oct 5th RHKC gig on the KC Irish Events calendar, so I have.
