The Wild Clover Band at Sioux Falls Irish Fest
There seems to be so much Irish stuff in KC at the moment that I’ve managed to neglect Kansas City’s Irish friends in Nebraska, The Wild Clover Band. As Gerry Adams once said, they haven’t gone away you know.
TONIGHT The Wild Clover Band are playing their regular haunt at Cunningham’s Courtyard in Kearney, Nebraska at 7pm
But if you don’t live in Nebraska, perhaps South Dakota is handier for you. Tomorrow, Saturday 29th July WCB are playing at the Sioux Falls Irish Fest in Terrace Park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The festival is FREE and runs from noon - 9pm, with The Wild Clover Band playing their brand of Irish pub music in two performances, 12:50-1:35pm and 6:15-7:00pm
And as that would hardly keep anyone busy enough, WCB’s Aaron Svoboda is conducting two workshops at the festival, one on Beginning Bodhran, and another on the History of Irish Music.
The 5 ladies of Acabella • The Doon Céili Band (with Paddie O’Brien) • the Ceallaigh Celtic Dancers • Michael and Heather McDonald • Dakota District Pipes and Drums, are the other festival performers.
