Thank Dog for Gods
Boys and girls, right now because of Paddy’s Day in Kansas City, I have approaching fifty posts and pages in draft, and I wish I’d never started.
I also still have twenty-five paintings of Ireland not finished, and I wish I’d never stopped.
And I’m very low on tea leaves, in a city where obtaining quality leaves means cycling twelve miles.
Tea. Paint. Post. Tea. Paint. Post. I can’t decide between the three gods of the lonely Irish emigrant, so I am taking my dog for a walk to discuss Myles na gCopaleen as the grandfather of Irish blogging, and the death of deference in the information age.
The dog is rather argumentative, but usually comes up with something original.
