Seven Nations at Rockhurst, KC, MO
Seven Nations are playing Rockhurst High School’s Rose Theater on Saturday, February 24, 2007 in what is termed the Bridging The Gap Irish Concert.
I’m not quite sure which gap is being bridged but in case it doesn’t fully bridge it, mind the gap.
I imagine it starts at the time gigs typically start at, but if you check out Rockhurst High School’s website you’ll see that on the same date there is a freshman retreat and shrimp dinner scheduled, both at 6pm. So maybe you can get to eat shrimp before letting all Seven Nations bridge the gap. Or freshmen if you’re particularly hungry.
Opening for Seven Nations is Eddie Delahunt and John Morris.
UPDATE: You can join Eddie, John, Brett & Gabe in Walsh’s Corner Cocktail at an after-gig party
Lead nation Kirk McLeod is one of the nicest men in rock music and maddeningly you know he has nicer hair than you do. One of the highlights of my hair time at last year’s Irish festival at Crown Center was sitting with Kirk as we watched Black 47 and swapped fetishistic stories of reggae and uilleann piping.
