Seven Nations at Davey’s Uptown in KC, MO
On Thursday June 21, 2007 Seven Nations are playing Davey’s Uptown Rambler’s Club in Kansas City, Missouri.
The event is billed as “an early evening with 7 Nations”, presumably to entice the midwest out on a midweek night.
Songwriter and lead singer of 7 Nations, Kirk McLeod told me a few months ago that even though the band plays well over 100 gigs a year, that this is way down from their peak of 300 a year a few years back.
Living in different places on the continent, Crisco, Struby, Scott Long, Dan Stacey, and Kirk have lives beyond the Celtic rock circuit.
The boys are about to play a whole host of Irish Festivals in North America, like Irish Fest in Milwaukee, the Indy Irish Festival, Cleveland’s Irish Cultural Festival - their 25th, the Irish 2000 Music & Arts Festival in New York, the Longs Peak Festival in Colorado’s Estes Park, and the Dublin Irish Festival in Ohio with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
Also, 7 Nations aren’t cheapSo getting to see them in Davey’s is a real treat for 7N fans.
Tickets: $10 Advanced / $12 DOS
Location: Davey’s Uptown Ramblers’ Club is located at 3402 Main Street
