Secret Cellar Opens for O’Malley’s Irish Pub of Weston, MO
Friday, April 11, 2008 is the big Secret Cellar unveiling at O’Malley’s 1842 Irish Pub of Weston, Missouri.
Mike and Corey say that this is truly a peak back in time as this cellar is exactly as it was when brewing stopped in Weston at the beginning of Prohibition.
Pub doors are opening at 4pm. Bob Walkenhorst and Jeff Porter are playing early - though I think I saw a note somewhere from Jeff saying that their start time had shifted back from 4 to 5:30pm.
And I’ve had it on the Irish Events Calendar for a while, but it’s no harm to give you a reminder that the Wild Clover Band from Nebraska are playing from 8pm to Midnight.
The Wild Clover Band are back again Saturday evening at the same time slot, and Bob Reeder will play his regular Sunday slot from 3pm to 9pm.
Let me know what you think of the Secret Cellar. But don’t let anyone else know, because, well, it’s a secret.
I got to see it. It’s kinda interesting. Not much to describe though. It’s an empty cellar. But it was cool to see. I actually arrived just after Bob and Jeff and got to be down there with them.
I didn’t stay of the Wild Clover Band as I went into Kansas City to see the Elders instead.
