Raglan, not Ragland, Road
It’s NOT Ragland Road.
Ragland does sound like a name, like maybe somewhere that dresses and petticoats are made, but it’s wrong.
And I want to stop this before it gets too big. Kansas City’s newest Irish pub is called Raglan Road.
I even went all the way to Dublin in Ireland to take a photo of the actual road called Raglan Road for you.
Yes so I live in Dublin and it just involved hopping on the bus, but still Kansas City, I was thinking of you.
Raglan Road, after the original fake Irish pub in Florida, that was named after a song, that was named after a poem, that was named after a road. And the road down in the valley-o.
And yes Raglan Road is open now and for the madness of the coming days including Paddy’s Day itself. People have been telling me their first impressions - for the most part very positive - and when I can put them all together I’ll post them for you.
Disclosure: Many months ago one of the owners contacted me about buying and commisioning paintings from me for Raglan Road. I responded but heard nothing further.
