Packing List #2: Books in the Bathroom
One of the highlights in becoming a grown up for me was being able to choose what books go in the bathroom.
Actually being able to put any books in the jax is a highlight.
I have just carried the books that have accumulated in there over the 3 and half years I’ve lived in this happy home.
They are now destined for a box which is destined for a container which is destined for Ireland.
In the usual interests of accountability and honesty, here are those 11 books - but bear in mind that there is a certain kind of book that lends itself to, well, you know:
1. Red Meat: A Collection of Red Meat Cartoons From the Secret Files of Max Cannon
2. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice: Picasso, Provence, and Douglas Cooper - John Richardson
3. Born to Be Bad: Postcards from the Great Trash Films, Volume II
4. Booked: (V.Carefully) Selected Writings by Tom Humphries
5. The Best of Myles - Myles na gCopaleen
7. The Meaning of Liff - Douglas Adams & John Lloyd
8. The Avenue - Christian O’Reilly
9. The Book of Beer - Armand Eisen
10. Gem Yeats Anthology (Collins Gems) - W.B. Yeats
11. The Trouble with Boyfriends - anonymous
