New blog: Bicyclistic
Finally I’ve launched a new blog to house personal posts. It’s called Bicyclistic.
The change leaves IrishKC to be about matters Irish, Kansas City and Irish in Kansas City.
All the kinds of things that have appeared on the left hand side of IrishKC (the main stage as I like to call it) will from now on appear on Bicyclistic. I’m only referring to new content; all the old content will remain here.
The posts that currently appear in the middle column (or the other main stage as I like to call it) will continue, but expect to see more links on news & events from further afield.
The main column here will now house longer articles, features, and opinions. The Cycling Across America series will continue on IrishKC, but like any other posts that might have a broader appeal will be referred to from Bicyclistic. In other words if there’s any grey areas as to which blog a post belongs on, I’ll make sure to point at it from the blog it’s not on.
Paintings will continue on IrishKC with notifications of sales and other pimping, but as Bicyclistic is to be my personal blog, it will be more in tune with day to day painting developments.
You’ll start to see changes in IrishKC as it moves to a solely commercial footing; they should help navigation and general usability.
The first post on Bicyclistic is a a look inside my studio in Dublin.
