MVFS Annual Irish Fest Radio Show
Mark & Valerie Andruss, from MVFS, are doing another Celtic music show on KKFI today, Sunday, August 13, from 11am-1 pm. You can also listen to a live stream
In today’s annual KC Irish Fest radio show Mark and Valerie have Dan Regan from the Fest joining them around noon to talk about the history of the festival, how performers are chosen and more.
Oh, and there’ll be music. From many of the performers appearing at the Labor Day Weekend Irish Festival. From the field of Celtic rock they’ll be playing Enter the Haggis, Seven Nations, The Elders, Hothouse Flowers and Black 47
And from more traditional Irish music, you can hear Grada, Gaelic Storm, The Fuchsia Band, Tin Cup Prophette
Luka Bloom and Cahal Dunne will also be played, and Mark and Valerie are also hoping to be able to play some Seamus Kennedy and Millish.
