Midwest Fleadh Cheoil Winners for Ireland
Earlier this year, the students of Sean Cleland’s Irish Music School of Chicago swept the Midwest Fleadh Cheoil in St. Louis. That earned them the right to represent the US in the All-Ireland Music competitions, which will be held in Letterkenny, County Donegal.
If you’re in the Chicago area you might like to know that there’s a benefit concert this Sunday, July 23, to raise money to help send Sean’s class to Ireland this August to compete in the competition. Details are available on the Irish Music School of Chicago’s website
