Mairtin Nominated for 1st Balcony TV Awards
Over the last year we’ve featured Ireland’s Balcony TV here on Irish KC quite a few times.
Well, to celebrate their first year Balcony TV are having a night of awards in June, 2007.
The videos from Dublin’s most famous of balconies are split into five categories.
• Best Male
• Best Female
• Best World Music
• Best Non-Music
• Best Band
Part-time Kansas City resident, Cork’s actor/musician, Máirtín de Cógáin, is nominated in the Best Non-Music category for this video where he wears his seanchaí hat.
Other friends of Irish KC also nominated include the excellent Bairbre Munnis from Dublin in the Best Female category.

The BalconyTV Music Video Awards 2007 are taking place on June 9th in Dublin’s Sugar Club. Included in the live entertainment for the evening is a performance by Fuchsia Band front man Máirtín.
