Live From London
This is interesting. For me anyway, if not for you.
Right now I’m on a bus in London. And I’m online.
If you book early enough the Megabus to Oxford is just 1 pound sterling. And online access comes free. There’s also sockets so you can save on the battery.
Just went past the Duke of Wellington’s house, he the most famous Irishman claiming not to be an Irishman. Something about stables and not all creatures born therein necessarily being horses.
Never mind Dr Quirkey’s in Dublin the hoarding on Bayswater Road is ridiculously impressive.
It’s very grey here, and somehow not raining. Leaves are swirling among the people, including those who are bagging them.
Waiting for the bus I was eating a Cornish pasty when I was approached by an athletic young man in a track suit.
-Are you from London?
I shook my head
-Can you help me? I’m from Ireland
-I can’t help you, I replied firmly in my own Irish accent.
It’s 20p to go to the jax in mainline train stations. Traffic on the A40 is heavy but moving.
Ah, there’s the rain.
-Are you from London?
I shook my head
-Can you help me? I’m from Ireland
-I can’t help you, I replied firmly in my own Irish accent.
LOL! Too funny!
