Kennedy’s Bar & Grill Open Again
2 years ago I walked in the snow for 5 minutes towards the smoke and the flames. I took photos of the sad and frightening sight of Kennedy’s Bar & Grill on 75th Street, on fire.
It’s in time for St Patrick’s Day 2009 in Kansas City, and despite it being the scene of The Worst Pint of Guinness in Kansas City that I ever had, I have fond memories of the old pub.

Co-owner Karolyn Dreiling showed off the new digs on Friday, from the hardwood panels on the ceiling to the walk-in cooler to the large windows sliding open to bustling 75th Street. The eco-friendly building is a stark contrast from the brick and mortar of its historic predecessor.
