KC School of Irish Traditional Music
Timothy Finn in the Kansas City Star is busy at the moment with the coming weekend of music festivals, but he finds time for a write up on Irish musician Turlach Boylan’s Kansas City School of Irish Music.
Turlach’s first music class is planned for the tin whistle:
It’s the most basic instrument in Irish music, he said. After two or three weeks of lessons, you should be playing recognizable music, assuming you practice every day
You can see Turlach play with Beverly Buchanan and Dan Cummins on Sep 9 at Bloomsday Books.
