KC Irish Translations #1
Here’s something I was going to do a list of, but I’ve decided to post them one at a time and then to release the list later, sort of a compilation.
What am I talking about? Perspectives and expectations.
I’ve noticed that when Irish people hear certain things said in KC for the first time they tend to apply those words to an Irish context ignoring the fact that they were said by somebody from Kansas City in Kansas City. Arrogant Irish gits.
Anyway, helpful as ever I’m going to interpret so as to avoid confusion. And I might even do some reverse situations so everybody is happy. Or unhappy, whichever. Without further ado, and without Freddy Adu, here we go then:

Meaning to Irish Person: The lights turned red
